Nava, Alexandria G., 90, died peacefully on September 4, 2010. She was the wife of the late Edmund S. Nava. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Frances (Cabral) Gomes.
She worked as a clerk for Speidel Textron for many years retiring in 1980.
She is survived by her loving children; Edmund G. Nava of Warwick, Frances Beaton of Greenville, Carole Kortick of Warwick and Donald G. Nava of Richmond. She is survived by her 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was the great grandmother of the late Gabriel Nava. She was the sister of the late Mary Medeiros, Olive Zambarano, Isabelle Ferreira, Rose Silva, Frances Oliveira, Joseph Mello, John, Manuel and Anthony Gomes.
The funeral will be held on Thursday at 9 AM from the REBELLO FUNERAL HOME. 901 Broadway, East Providence, RI. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM in St. Martha's Church, 2595 Pawtucket Ave., East Providence, RI. Burial will be Private. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 5-8 PM.
